Soup Supper and Holy Engagement
At the annual Ash Wednesday service, the gathered assembly is invited to the observance of a holy Lent through a process of self-examination and repentance; by prayer, fasting, self-denial and by reading and meditating on God’s holy Word (BCP p.265). While this process may sound a bit daunting, it doesn’t have to be. In fact, Lent is one of the richest and most fruitful times in the life of a Christian. Through an invitation to explore and review one’s life, one finds the road to true freedom from whatever is blocking a full life in Christ
Our Lenten program will combine scriptural study, personal examination, small group discussion, and ritual, leading us along the path towards the Resurrected Christ and resurrected life
Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to tap into the sacredness of your life.
