All were present except for Charles Hall and Nancy Castaneda. Several guests joined the vestry for the August meeting; John and Joan Kimber, Dave Nelson, Tom and Gail Blalock, Jan Scrutton, and Janet Fischer.
We met at 6:30 for dinner and shared God moments, then at 7:00 p.m. Elaine Vallecilla- Miller opened with prayer. We called the vestry to order and approved the minutes from the July meeting. Lynn explained the financials which were approved, the email vote for re-waxing the floor was recorded and then the vestry reports were also approved.
At 7:15 we adjourned to EB1 for a presentation by Davey Gerhard, Christina Mathis and Amanda on the diocesan Capital Campaign. Questions were asked and answered by the diocesan team.
The Vestry meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m. and then Elaine led us in the celebration of Compline in the little church.
