Those who have been around for more than five years or so will recognize the name of this author. Valle Brokes was a member of St. James’ for many years until she and her husband Al moved closer to family in Pennsylvania. Along with being a faithful parishioner, Valle was a teacher of English and journalism to high school and college students and a research editor. She is also a person of intellect, grace, and warmth.
