You asked, we listened. Starting in April, we will have bible study at the 9:15 hour between services on Sundays.
We will take a chronological approach to the New Testament, starting with the books/letters that were written first. That means we will start with I & II Thessalonians, considered by most scholars to be the first known letters written. We will use the Immersion Bible Studies series. You are welcome to purchase this book (Immersion Bible Studies: Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, by Lisa Withrow, available on amazon.com or your favorite bookstore), but it is not necessary. Just bring your bible!
We hope to recruit others to lead future studies. As an incentive, the Faith Formation committee will purchase your Immersion book if you agree to be one of the leaders. If you are interested, please talk to Janet Fischer.
