In order to learn more and discuss what will be voted on at the annual Diocesan Convention in October, please join us in the Education Room on Sunday, September 16th at 9:15 am. EJ Hilliard, who is part of the Resolutions Committee, will present the resolutions that will be up for a vote at our upcoming 2018 convention. This congregational meeting is your chance to learn more about the resolutions that are coming to a vote at the convention, as well as share your thoughts with St. James’ deanery representatives who act as convention delegates. - Benefits Cost-Sharing
- Just and Healthy Food Systems
- Prevention and Reporting of Sexual Harassment
- Better Food and Farming
- Paid Family Leave
- Faith Formation: Hearing our Call to be Disciples of Jesus
Whatever your opinion, let your Deanery Representatives know what you think about the resolutions so they can represent you at the 2018 Convention at Grace Cathedral on October 19th & 20th. This annual diocesan convention is the gathering of representatives from the 78 parishes in the Diocese of California, who come together to make governmental decisions on behalf of the diocese.
